These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website chauffeurquito.com and the contracting of services provided by Luxury Chauffeur Quito, which offers private chauffeur-driven transportation, including airport transfers, private transfers, vehicle hire with driver, group transportation, tours, and personalized mobility services in Quito and other routes within Ecuador.

By requesting a quote, booking a service, making a payment, or using the website, the client fully accepts these conditions.

1. Scope of Service

Luxury Chauffeur Quito offers private, pre-booked services aimed at delivering a high-end experience focused on comfort, punctuality, professional presentation, and personalized attention.

Services may be provided within Quito, from or to Mariscal Sucre International Airport, and on other national routes subject to operational availability.

Services include, among others:

• Airport transfers: private transportation to and from Quito’s Mariscal Sucre International Airport.
• Private transfers: point-to-point transportation within the city or to other pre-arranged destinations.
• Chauffeur service: private driver for meetings, corporate commitments, official visits, events, tourism, or personalized itineraries.
• Hourly or full-day chauffeur service: vehicle with driver available by the hour or for a full day, subject to scheduling and operational limits.
• Vehicle hire with driver: service designed for clients seeking private mobility with a professional chauffeur.
• Corporate transportation: executive transport for companies, executives, delegations, meetings, roadshows, and institutional visits.
• Group and event transportation: private transport for groups, social and corporate events, conferences, conventions, and special logistics.
• Tourist transportation: private transfers for tours, day trips, multi-day trips, and customized routes.

Luxury Chauffeur Quito does not operate as open public transportation or as a shared ride platform. All services are private and subject to booking, confirmation, and availability.

2. Vehicle Types and Service Category

Luxury Chauffeur Quito provides its services with units selected according to the client’s operational needs, the number of passengers, luggage volume, route, and availability.

The service may be provided in categories such as:

• SUV
• Van
• Minivan
• Bus

Vehicle assignment depends on the type of contracted service, number of passengers, luggage, required comfort level, route conditions, and operational logistics.

Luxury Chauffeur Quito may replace one unit with another of equivalent or higher category when operational, mechanical, safety, or availability reasons require it, seeking not to affect the nature of the contracted service.

3. Booking and Confirmation

Reservations may be requested through the website, email, contact forms, WhatsApp, or other official communication channels.

All requests are subject to verification of availability, validation of details, route, schedule, type of unit, and operational conditions.

To confirm a reservation, payment of a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total service value is required.

The reservation will be considered formally confirmed only when such deposit has been effectively received and validated.

Luxury Chauffeur Quito may request additional information from the client to process the booking, including:

• Full name of the main passenger
• Contact number
• Email address
• Date and time of the service
• Pickup location and destination
• Number of passengers
• Approximate amount of luggage
• Flight number, if applicable
• Special or logistical requirements

The client is responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

Luxury Chauffeur Quito shall not be responsible for errors, delays, surcharges, or inability to provide the service when these arise from incorrect, incomplete, or untimely information provided by the client.

4. Rates, Payments & Gratuities

Rates may be calculated according to the route, duration, type of service, vehicle category, schedule, number of passengers, waiting time, detours, tolls, parking fees, night surcharges, holidays, special requirements, or extraordinary conditions.

Payment conditions:

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation.
• The remaining 50% must be paid on the day of service, either before departure or at the end of the transfer, as agreed with the client.
• Any additional charge arising from extra time, route changes, unplanned stops, excessive waiting, service extension, or requirements not contemplated in the initial quotation may be charged additionally.
• Gratuities are entirely voluntary and left to each passenger’s discretion. Luxury Chauffeur Quito does not apply any mandatory service charge.

Luxury Chauffeur Quito reserves the right not to start, suspend, or terminate a service when the agreed payment conditions have not been fulfilled.

It is understood that all quoted rates are expressed in U.S. dollars and may be subject to taxes, commissions, bank charges, or transaction fees, as applicable.

*For luxury-category or premium-assigned vehicles, full payment equivalent to 100% of the total service value may be required in advance in order to confirm the reservation and block the availability of the vehicle and chauffeur.

5. Cancellation Policy

The applicable cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time do not oblige the client to pay the remaining balance.
• In such cases, the 50% deposit is non-refundable, as it blocks the availability of the vehicle and driver for that specific reservation.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time will generate a charge equivalent to 100% of the total value of the booked service.

This policy also applies to special reservations, services during high-demand hours, exclusively assigned units, early morning services, holidays, events, or logistics previously organized for the client.

6. No Show and Abandonment of Service

A no show shall be deemed to occur when the passenger or contracting party does not appear at the agreed place and time, does not respond to reasonable contact attempts, or unilaterally abandons the service without cause attributable to Luxury Chauffeur Quito.

In case of no show:

• The service may be considered executed for billing purposes.
• No refund of the deposit shall apply.
• One hundred percent of the total booking value may be charged, especially when the vehicle and driver have been assigned and dispatched according to the confirmed itinerary.

7. Changes and Modifications

Requests for changes to the date, time, pickup address, destination, type of service, vehicle category, number of passengers, or other relevant conditions must be made as far in advance as possible.

Any modification will be subject to:

• Operational availability
• Availability of the type of unit
• Logistical adjustments
• Rate review
• Express confirmation by Luxury Chauffeur Quito

Changes requested on short notice may incur additional charges. A substantial modification may be considered a new reservation.

8. Airport Transfers

For airport transfer services from or to Mariscal Sucre International Airport, the client must correctly provide the relevant flight information, where applicable, including airline, flight number, date, and estimated time.

Luxury Chauffeur Quito offers private transportation to and from the airport with professional service, punctuality, and a comfortable experience.

For arrival services, reasonable waiting time may be adjusted based on reported air operations, provided that the flight information has been correctly shared by the client.

If the passenger experiences extended delays due to immigration, baggage claim, additional procedures, terminal changes, lack of communication, or late exit from the arrivals area, Luxury Chauffeur Quito may apply additional waiting charges and dispatch a new vehicle, depending on the situation.

9. Hourly Service, Chauffeur, and Rent a Car with Driver

Chauffeur, driver for the day, hourly disposal, and rent a car with driver services imply the availability of a vehicle with a professional driver during the contracted period, within the scope and schedules previously confirmed.

In these services:

• Additional hours, unplanned routes, interprovincial changes, extended service time, prolonged idle periods, or extraordinary requirements may be billed separately.
• The service does not include delivery of the vehicle without a driver; the car, SUV, van, minivan, or bus will be operated only by personnel authorized by Luxury Chauffeur Quito.

10. Group and Event Transportation

Luxury Chauffeur Quito offers group and event transportation while maintaining a focus on comfort, punctuality, coordination, and professional service.

This type of operation may include SUV, van, minivan, or bus, according to the group size and required logistics.

In group or event services:

• The contracting party must accurately communicate schedules, meeting points, number of passengers, and special needs.
• The coordination of multiple units, several pickups, extended waiting times, special luggage, or last-minute changes may generate additional charges.
• The service will be subject to compliance with the maximum capacities per unit and applicable safety regulations.

11. Client Conduct

The client and their companions must maintain respectful and appropriate conduct throughout the service.

The following is not allowed:

• Smoking or vaping inside the vehicle, unless expressly authorized where law and operation allow it
• Consuming illicit substances
• Carrying dangerous or prohibited objects
• Causing damage, excessive dirt, or disturbances
• Exceeding the authorized passenger capacity
• Requesting unsafe, illegal maneuvers or actions contrary to traffic regulations

Luxury Chauffeur Quito may refuse, suspend, or terminate the service without refund when there is aggressive, abusive, dangerous, illegal behavior, or conduct that compromises the safety of the driver, passengers, third parties, or the vehicle.

12. Responsibility for Personal Belongings

Each passenger is responsible for their personal items, documents, money, electronic devices, jewelry, luggage, and other belongings transported during the service.

Luxury Chauffeur Quito does not guarantee special custody of forgotten, lost, damaged items, or items left inside the vehicle.

13. Delays, Traffic, and Force Majeure

Committed to excellence and professionalism, Luxury Chauffeur Quito will provide punctual, high-quality service. However, it shall not be held responsible for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Extraordinary traffic congestion
• Road accidents
• Police controls or road closures
• Demonstrations or disturbances
• Adverse weather conditions
• Airport restrictions
• Third-party failures
• Fortuitous events or force majeure

In these cases, Luxury Chauffeur Quito will make reasonable efforts to reschedule, adjust, or mitigate the impact of the event, without implying any assumption of liability for indirect damages, missed connections, loss of profit, commercial damages, or resulting claims.

14. Data Protection and Communications

The personal information provided by the client will be used to manage reservations, respond to inquiries, coordinate services, validate payments, send confirmations, and maintain communications related to the contracted service.

The client authorizes Luxury Chauffeur Quito to contact them by email, phone, messaging, or official digital channels in relation to their reservation, operational changes, reminders, service follow-up, or after-sales service.

Data will not be processed for purposes incompatible with the provision of the service, unless additional consent or legal requirement applies.

15. Express Acceptance

By requesting a quotation, making a reservation, paying a deposit, contracting a transfer, an airport transfer, a chauffeur service, a rent a car with driver service, a corporate service, or group transportation, the client declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.
